This Week on World Spinning

Ever been to fantastic Waterton National Park in southern Alberta? That's Cyndi's "office". Cyndi is a biologist, who has also had the good fortune to work in Jasper, Canmore, Lake Louise and the Arctic. Cyndi has hiked some pretty rugged peaks in the Yukon, studying peregrine falcon nests. She also travelled to Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, animal- and bird-watching.

Our music in the second hour of World Spinning today is inspired by Cyndi Smith's travels in Southern Africa.

Thank you Cyndi, for your work with our beautiful national parks, and for your help in keeping CKUA soaring!

Cyndi's travels as a conservation biologist took her to the Yukon, peering into the high altitude "nest" of Seven - a peregrine falcon who migrates between the Yukon and South America twice a year! (Thanks for sending the photos, Cyndi.)

Lark Clark was recently on special assignment, travelling to Colombia to explore the culture and traditional music.
