From Thursday April 18th to Sunday April 28th, we invited you to 'Meet the Family', with the idea of introducing you to some new CKUA family members you might not be acquainted with yet. Some of you had a taste of this when we changed our programming on April Fools' Day, and the response was accolades all round!

We had some special guests dropping by to chat on air, including musicians, festival organizers, and other friends of the family. We were also excited to welcome back our troops of Fundraiser Volunteers, whose behind-the-scenes work keeps our fundraiser engine running.

Your donations tell us that CKUA is important to you - and our hard-working, responsive, and well-informed announcers show you how important you are to CKUA by providing you with carefully curated programming you just can't get anywhere else.

Double Your Dollars Leadership Donors

Double Your Dollars (DYD), originally an idea from one of our donors in St. Albert, has become a successful cornerstone of our Spring and Fall campaigns. Donors provide us with a pool of DYD-designated dollars. Then during the campaign, we announce a "DYD Hour" - and any new donations made during that hour are matched by the existing DYD pool of funds.

DYD Hours are very popular with our listeners, and it is only through the generosity of our Leadership Donors that we can offer this option. We thank them for their support.
