Texan writer Sam Baker has become a TRUE songwriter. Being on a train when a bomb explodes would change anyone's life - if it didn't kill them. Sam has turned that devastating personal experience to his benefit. He knows that time is precious & he doesn't waste it.

Sam writes about slices of life. You get to know his characters and why their lives have turned out the way they have - all in the space of one short song. Sure, that's the concept of all song-writing, but with "Pretty World" Sam is two albums in & hasn't failed on that point yet. Check out "Orphan," "Odessa," or "Broken Fingers."
