Volunteer Coordinator
Duties
- Work closely with the
event coordinator.
- Call volunteers from
database.
- Scheduling of volunteer
shifts for events.
- Notifying volunteers
(e-mail, if possible) of events well ahead of time
- "Training"
new volunteers at events.
- Tracking #of hours worked
at events

- Tracking number of volunteers
at events.
- For larger events, ensure
there is food and beverages for volunteers.
- Make name tags for volunteers
with CKUA logo on it.
- When contacting volunteers,
keep track of which volunteers show interest or availability for future events.
Those that dont can be removed from database.
- Communicating with events
coordinators before and after events to get feedback
- Did they have enough
volunteers?
- Too many?
- Longer shifts, shorter
shifts?
- Call all volunteers
after each event to thank them for their participation and let them know what
they have done well. Invite them to the next event.
- Communicating information
to database coordinator address/phone number updates, names to be added
for lack of interest etc.
- Informing new interested
people of volunteer positions and events we attend and supplying volunteer
sign up forms at events.
- Attend all chapter meetings
to remain informed.
